FAQs

  1. Why choose Bounce Walking Tours?
Bounce Walking Tours are the only providers of regular Sydney walking tours beyond the Rocks colonial district of Sydney. This allows us to show you some of the great modern and lesser-known features of our fantastic city. Such as the Botanic Gardens, where movie scenes have been filmed and Sydney's red-light district. Our guides are enthusiastic, professional and friendly. They're also local Sydneysiders, which means they're available to answer all of your questions and are well informed on the latest events, attractions and current affairs influencing Sydney on the day of your tour.
  2. Will I enjoy a Bounce walking tour?
We're VERY confident you'll have a great time on any of our tours. Our Sydney walks are designed to provide you with all of the information you need to know about an area, but most importantly, are designed to entertain you. Bounce collects feedback from people all over the world who have taken our walking tours and on every feedback form we've ever received, our walkers have stated that they would recommend us to family and friends. How's that for a recommendation!
  3. Do I need to be fit?
People of all fitness level are extremely welcome, and will thoroughly enjoy, each of Bounce's guided walking tours. If you are concerned about the speed or intensity of the tour, please speak to your tour guide prior to the start of your walking tour, however we're sure you'll find each tour to be a thoroughly enjoyable leisurely walk.
  4. What happens in bad weather?
Our guided walking tours operate as scheduled — rain, hail or shine. Our tour guides will be prepared to make your tour as comfortable as possible in bad weather, by supplying umbrellas and sunscreen as required.
  5. What should I wear?
General sight-seeing wear is perfect. We suggest wearing any clothes that are comfortable for you to walk in — including comfortable shoes — on our walking tours. Please note that the Australian sun can be very harsh. On warm days, please cover up as much as possible and wear a hat and sunscreen at all times.
  6. Will there be any breaks in the walk?
Our walking tours include toilet and refreshment breaks where you'll have a chance to refresh and gather your energies for the remainder of the tour and purchase a refreshment or snack.
  7. Where do the tours start?
All of our walking tours, including each of our Sydney and Kings Cross walking tours, start at Circular Quay - within seconds of Sydney's Circular Quay railway station and ferry, bus and taxi terminals.
